In recent years some notable real estate projects of economic strength created in Buenos Aires some sectors whose names are not officially on maps of the city, but in the collective consciousness. Thus one can speak of different Palermo (Soho, Hollywood, Queens), and even of Congress (no such name of district but is within Balvanera).
One of the latter cases Madero Harbour, behind the dam 1, whose closest entrance is the Avenida Brasil, and close to the Floating Casino, in Puerto Madero.
is a major undertaking that is notable because it is a complex of homes, offices, shopping and hotels that are now in accelerated construction from the well of work.
The assessment is that in Buenos Aires, when it comes to this type of large building projects , designed to admit large purchasing power, the state (in this case the City Government of and is the political power that is) is responsible in the first instance to strengthen the public space, care and beautification and not seen in any elsewhere. In this case, the implementation of traffic lights Avenue widening of Brazil and the empowerment of previously closed streets seem to endorse it.
For now, the most concrete of Madero Harbour is square, with maintenance and care are Gnvgroup by the real estate developer in charge of the project Madero Harbour. (Source: clarification of the company by mail www.salemviale.com.ar , communication consultant Madero Harbour.)
Similar reflection in reference to public space emerges in relation to the surrounding Hotel Slaughter (at a time that was being built) and even in Bullrich Avenue, where the mosque is in Buenos Aires.
Here you can see the square and finished (belonging to complex Madero Harbour) . More can be seen behind the tallest buildings in the city, highlighting El Faro and Le Parc (still under construction and neighbors for a few meters to the Harbour). This complex can be seen entering the city from different distant points, currently making a new landscape of urban dynamics.
are artistic expressions that are qualifying to the city with aesthetic and creative ways. There is a growing and crowded places that seem so little forgotten, as the plaza in Cochabamba street, reaching Sarandi, one block before the climb to the highway May 25 westbound.
There is little information about the author and a few graffiti ruining this work, fortunately.
C hen is not sailing around the world, the frigate rests on the dock of the Naval Station in Buenos Aires Buenos Aires port. To be able to admire it, the closest entrance is the Córdoba Avenue, where as you can see the masts can be seen even from some points in the vicinity.
The mask is of course the Republic Argentina a female figure, crowned with Phrygian cap, ancient symbol of one of the most prized acquisitions of man Liberty. As all seafaring tradition, rich in foreshadowing, chewed serves as a guard against the dangers to the ship and its crew. The remarkable work was done by the English sculptor Carlos García González.
From mythological times of the ship Argo of Jason and the Argonauts, the figurehead was a key component to take into account construction of ships. In "The Greek Myths, Robert Graves collected from Valerius Flaccus and Apollodorus the testimony that Athena herself oracular put a mast in the bow of the Argo, Oak cut his father Zeus at Dodona. This bow "... had a graceful curved like the neck of a swan, but ended in a carved ram's head ..." . Thus imagine Graves in "The Golden Fleece" (in a interesting fusion of poetry and historical narrative) to the legendary bow of the ship Argo.
there a place in Buenos Aires where you can be a nice collection of figureheads of the nineteenth century, is in the Museum of Fine Arts Mouth Quinquela Benito Martín.
objects have fallen into disuse because of the inevitable progression of other wonders of modernity, but not without the beauty that only the patience of Job craft can be granted.
